Keto Garlic Bread

Garlic bread consists of bread, topped with garlic and olive oil or butter and may include additional herbs, such as oregano or chives. It is then either grilled or broiled until toasted or baked in a conventional or bread oven.
It is typically made using a French baguette, or sometimes a sourdough like ciabatta which is partially sliced downwards, allowing the condiments to soak into the loaf while keeping it in one piece.
The bread is then stuffed through the cuts with oil and minced garlic before baking. Alternatively, butter and garlic powder are used, or the bread is cut lengthwise into separate slices which are individually garnished.

Ingredients
  

  • 7 g sachet instant dried yeast
  • 1 tablespoon pouring cream
  • 80 ml 1/3 cup warm water
  • 155 g 1 1/2 cups almond meal
  • 2 tablespoons psyllium husk
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 3 eggs lightly whisked
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 100 g 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Chopped continental parsley to serve

Instructions
 

  • Start to grease a 20 cm square cake pan with baking powder, In a bowl combine yeast cream and water stir to mix set aside for 10 minutes. In a large bowl whisk together the almond meal, psyllium husk, flaxseed, baking powder and salt. Make a well in the middle. Add the yeast mixture, egg, olive oil and vinegar. Whisk well to combine. Transfer to the prepared pan. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and set aside for 1 hour or until the mix has risen slightly. Preheat the oven and to 200 c bake the bread for 15 minutes, drizzle with olive oil, garlic and cheese, bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and serve with parsley.
